Yeah, that's why I'm asking - I'm thinking of taking it over, but I don't want to be duplicating effort if the core modules are going to supply the functionality. I don't mind doing the work, since I need it, but I don't want to waste time if it's going to be obsoleted.

I think my next step is to figure out uc_stock so I have a better idea of how the two can play nice together.
