I think it's this whole "taxonomy" nightmare... I just couldn't figure out how to define a product; in my case, site designs, either a download pkg for the DIY'ers or a custom site based on a particular design. I'm going to look at this other thing I found called "Quickfiles", which looks a whole lot simpler to set up -- while at the same time I try to figure out more about the ins and outs of Drupal itself. I read the article "Drupal and the New Paradigm" which explained a little to me about why I find Drupal so inscrutable, it's just a lot more powerful that phpNuke or PostNuke; next I plan to really study the article "The Power of Drupal Categories" and see if yet more light begins to dawn. What the heck, I taught myself HTML/CSS in about a week, been doing it since 1999, along with various php script installations and customizations, so maybe I can get a handle on this too.
