No, I still don't have any live site yet. I'm working on two.
One for a biomedic reactives and equipment seller. Here I've had to tweak things a bit since the owner doesn't want prices on it. Reason? He has 4 levels of prices, depending on the quantity and regularity of the purchase --small occasional; small regular; big occasional, and big regular customers. So, the checkout is really a quotation.
The other site will be sort of an intranet for a small heavy duty electrical equipment business, so it won't be publicly accesible. The owner knows he is being robbed, but he is not sure by whom. Of course his main suspicions goes to the warehouse personnel, but there are also chances that a seller or two might be involved.
So Úbercart actually will be used as a stock control. With a day-by-day control, which only the owner will know about and use, he wants to pinpoint where and how the skimming occurs.
It will be used to submit packaging instructions based on the customers order (which is taken by e-mail, phone or fax). The seller fills in the order in the regular way, just as he is the customer (only here I changed "Name" for "Seller"), and the order instructions goes to the warehouse.
I'm not really sure this will do, but the business still gets a stock control.
Thanks for asking!
