uc_stock doesn't do the things that people require an online store to do regarding stock. The whole point of tracking stock levels is not to replace someone's inventory system entirely, but to simply prevent users from buying more of something than you actually have. uc_stocklevels may be considered abandoned, but it's not irrelevant. It at least tries to do the things people need, so with a few small hacks and spelling corrections it's usable.

I certainly can't take over maintenance of this module. If using PHP every couple months and 3 days of Ubercart usage count as pretty proficient on the scale of developers here, that's scary.
