This is exactly what I told the guy. Anyway, he's changed his requirements now and will deal with extra shipping costs post checkout.

I think making the checkout 100% working without javascript should be a top priority. None of this "you must enable javascript to continue" malarky, if that means splitting the checkout into multiple pages, then so be it. It's going to have to be an option anyway so store owners should be able to choose to use a non-javascript dependent, multipage checkout if they want.

Steve, how are your workflow-ng rules working? I tried to do some really basic stuff with workflow-ng and found it counter productive. I only wanted to unpublish nodes on reaching stock threshold and couldn't even work that out. In the end I just hacked uc_stock_workflow.inc.
