This thread is very interesting. A client (who doesn't use PayPal) uses Inventory API & Simple Stock Levels and it works fine. Except for the problem mentioned above where the module decreases stock when it's added to the cart, *not* when it's purchased. This is leading to incorrect stock levels.

I see someone above mentioned the idea of hooking into the final submit order action. I'm unclear if this was ever added to the module before it was abandoned? If someone could clarify this for me (and perhaps provide a link), that would be great!
