Has [SSL] been configured right on the GoDaddy server? UPS is pretty picky about that.
SSL does not have a time until it registers - it is automatic, as long as your web service is connecting from an https:// version of your site.
Okay, what I'm getting from this is that UPS will not deliver quotes if the Ubercart store is not up and running behind a secure connection. Is that correct?
Getting UPS quotes is failing silently for us (while FedEx is working fine). We haven't set up the SSL goodness yet, so perhaps that's the problem. We're hitting UPS's testing servers (the site is not yet live)… it would be nice if we could at least get test quotes from a standard HTTP connection, but them's the breaks, I guess. If it looks like this is really the problem, I'll contact the powers that be about moving forward getting us behind an SSL connection.
Also, some of the long strings in the posts above are horribly breaking the layout of this page… Surely others see it as well?
