I just installed Drupal and Ubercart after installing and uninstalling several other cart scripts.

So far I'm liking ubercart.

A restaurant menu is exactly what I was thinking about using the cart for.

Is there any progress on this?

I'm really in need of checkboxes and a kind of "quick" checkout option for a carry out order site.

What I noticed is that when you review your cart and the checkboxes are presented so you can remove items... is exactly how I'd like the menu set up.

For example:

checkbox item1 (pizza) price
----radio button1 (extra cheese +$1.00)
----radio button1 (mushrooms +.75)
checkbox item2 (breadsticks) price
----radio button1 (ranch dip +.50)
checkbox item3 (hot wings) price
checkbox item4 (2 liter cola) price
checkbox item5 (side salad)price
checkbox item6 (half rack ribs)price

Add to cart

once added... goes to checkout.
