Hi, we are going to try to develop a site quickly. We will likely use acquia drupal (drupal 6). It would be ideal to use ubercart; there will be a lot of customization of functionality as well. We are in the position to take some risk, and some flexibility in the timeline even though ideally we want something done in a month or two. So I am wondering if it is a ridiculous notion to try to develop this on drupal 6 + ubercart? No need in your answer for philosophies on launching on unfinished software--some risk here is ok--I am just wondering whether we should expect a beta roughly within a month? Or will be more like a year? Should we expect any show-stopping changes in the way it works or the tables? thank you!
