I mean... I'm not sure it requires rethinking your entire project. Like I said, you can create your own recurring fee handler or work through Authorize.Net and make sure roles stay active. I'm not talking weeks of development work here... maybe just a couple hours to write the little bit o' code and do some testing. I'm working on a solution right now that uses the Auth.Net system, and as soon as it's solid I can provide more info... Don't wanna derail this thread too much.
