I understand that Rules has broader module integration and some more advanced features related to the setup of configurations, but it's been my experience that the code is not easy to follow. This presents a maintenance and scalability problem for us long term. We've tried to be as straightforward and small as possible with the code in ca.module that relates directly to evaluating predicates, and I'm curious if you have any feedback related to that.
