I like the idea you had a ways back in this thread about CA being made in such a way that you could make a UC-Rules module to move the processing into Rules. I guess the CA API would need to include a way for the processing module to push their rules conditions/processing UI into the UC UI so you don't have to go to another module to set up something. (Sorry of that was already mentioned and I missed it.)

Overall, this UC-Rules module idea seams like the best compromise for all of the demands here. Seems like everyone could be happy that way.
