Yes and no.

Ubercart makes no distinction between normal nodes and translation nodes. So every node thats a translation is a product on its own for Ubercart.
Wich isnt the case. A node and its translations are 1 product. It would be more suitable to base it for example on the SKU or the tnid i reckon.
