Re: Remove Footer - powered by ubercart

My only issue with the Ubercart footer is the way it's implemented in the code - at least in the version of Ubercart the site I'm currently on is using (5.x-1.7). It's not part of the standard footer region, but creates a new region below that one, which makes the Ubercart footer stand out like a sore thumb in this site's case, since no such region is part of the existing site design.

I have no problem with adding a little plug for Ubercart, considering how much nicer it's been to work with than the old e-commerce module was, but I'd just like to be able to display it within the existing site footer, as opposed to down in a separate region on its own. So the option someone suggested of making it a block seems like a good one to me. That would be consistent with the "Powered by Drupal" footer that D6 uses.

In the meantime, I've just disabled the automatically generated store footer and will be adding a link within the site's existing footer instead. If anyone feels like posting a snippet of code I could use to make that link only appear on the store pages, that would be nice... Otherwise I'll try and puzzle it out on my own.
