Glad to hear that someone is using Organic Groups as the basis for a UCMP store like entity, I have suggested it in some of the ongoing threads/issues on Drupal.org that OG would be a good foundation for stores and provide greater flexibility for other use cases.

Are you stores on your website free to use or a paid additional service? If so, are you selling the role/permission? Is it a fixed one time or a recurring fee? How did you set it up payment?
