Hello,

I have a jewellery sale site in development, in Australia.

I have been in touch with the client's bank: ANZ Australia and have got the following link to offer, about thier payment gateway:

http://www.anz.com/australia/business/merchant/DownloadDevKit.asp

The hosting service that I am working with Quadra Hosting has the Dialect software installed on thier network, so it is not a requirement to use the VPC stuff mentioned in the document above.

What I am hoping for is a payment module that allows the transaction to be processed without leaving the ubercart website.

I can arrange the dedicated IP and the cerificate easily enough, but would prefer to have someone with more ubercart experience write the payment module.

There are existing modules that do some of the pieces puzzle:

MIGS Payment Module:
http://www.ubercart.org/contrib/3515

I am working in Drupal 6.x and ubercart 2.x, so I havent tried the above module.

I also am not clear if the above module bounces out to a 3rd party web site to process the transaction.

This may alarm overseas customers who dont know ANZ as a trusted party.

This same system should be able to be used by other Australian Banks : Commonwealth Bank and National Australia Bank as well as ANZ Bank.

Would it be possible to give a rough time and cost estimate of the work?

Or is the usual process of naming the bounty ahead of time and see if anyone feels like doing it?

Hi Sam I've used the MIGS

Hi Sam
I've used the MIGS module with Ubercart 1/Drupal 5, it goes through the VPC and yes it does leave the site.

Hi Sam Some banks are no

Hi Sam

Some banks are no longer willing to allow merchant-hosted collection of CC details any longer, and only support 3PT transactions (ie, redirect buyer to bank transaction processor).

On the other hand, the MIGS module in its current state will rightly be rejected by ANZ staff because it doesn't validate transaction details.

I'm currently doing a D6 port of the old version and will add validation. Get in touch if you're still looking for a MIGS solution?

Cheers

Re: Hi Sam Some banks are no

Have just released a Drupal 6 port of the bank-hosted MIGS provider, available now at http://drupal.org/project/uc_migs/

Feel free to get in touch if you'd like to look at having a merchant-hosted version of the same implemented.

Its done

I wonder if we could merge the code base for the merchant hosted service?

Jonno should be able to upload it fairly soon.

I'm open to that, we've done something similar with the uc_paymentexpress module where the tarball contains both merchant and bank hosted payment methods (as separate modules for minimal code load).

Feel free to create an issue and attach code via http://drupal.org/project/uc_migs - will follow from there.

PS. indowsve/TuckTail, are you just forum spamming, or did I miss some relevant point in your post? This discussion is not a general hosting promo thread.
