Hi,
I would like to set up a booking functionality in Ubercart D6 that allows users to check the availability and book the date and or time of their choice for the event/product. The user must be able to select the date, time and product attribute only if it’s applicable to that event/product.
Example: if you go to www.lastminute.com/site/entertainment/theatre and look at one of their products and click the 'check availability' button so you can get an idea of the functionality i am referring to.
The user can choose to attend the show on 11th Dec, at 8.30pm, with a ‘Top price seat’. Alternatively, another event/product may have a set date, set product attribute e.g. ‘ticket’ with different time slots e.g. 12th December at 1pm/2pm/4pm.
The solution must be flexible. It must also be compatible with the forthcoming D6 Ubercart Marketplace module and simple enough for both the backend and frontend site users (sellers/buyers) to use.
Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions for how this can be achieved?
