This is really a preliminary post to see who might be available to potentially work with me on some things.
If you have experience with doing custom coding for payment processing APIs in particular, I would love to hear from you. A more specific example would be to help code functionality to charge pre-authorized cards (from checkout) - Website Payments Pro (PayPal) or Authorize.net would be most likely - when trigged by another custom module.

I'm not really one who wants to ask for answer to a list of 20 questions that takes half as long as coding a custom module 
But it would be helpful if you could include a little bit information on custom module development experience; rates you charge (hourly rate or if you negotiate flat fees); and a rough time estimate if you were to say put together something like I mentioned above in WPP.
