Looking for Contractors

Early adopter... addicted to alphas.Getting busy with the Ubercode.

I don't have any projects at the moment, but I'm looking for contractors that can do the following:

1. Assess a project and suggest what modules can accomplish the task and what has to be done with a custom module (Both regular Drupal and Ubercart)

2. Create custom modules (Drupal and Ubercart)

3. Design templates

4. Implement template from psd

It is ok if you can only accomplish some of the above. I would guess that I'd need to find people who can do 1 and 2 or 3 and 4. If you can do all of the above that's great, but I've mainly found that the best programmers are not great designers, and great designers are not always good at programming.

Basically I just don't have time to do websites at home anymore because I have a job during the day. My boyfriend has a graphic design company and I would do any website design needed as they came up, but it is just too time consuming and I can't complete the projects quick enough since I only have time after work and on weekends. Instead of just dropping development all together, I thought I'd manage a project and contract different parts out to other people. I am mainly asking for people who do this for a living and would possibly like some extra work. I really need people who have enough experience to be able to come up with a fairly accurate quote to the amount of work to be done and the time it will take.

As an implementer of templates, you need to have experience in tableless, standards based design. As a creator of custom modules, obviously a history of PHP and experience in module design is a must. Unfortunately at this time I can't risk people who don't have any experience with Drupal, although not all of the work will necessarily be Drupal, there may be more simple sites, but I assume that people who can program/design for Drupal, have plenty of experience outside of Drupal as well.

If you are interested, PM me with your information, experience, modules/themes you've done, sites you've worked on, etc plus what your typical hourly rate is. Some projects might be hourly, most will just be a full quote for the job based on a spec, but I'd like to get an idea of your cost ahead of time.

Cheers,
Steph
