site set-up and tutorial

Hoping to create a store that looks like the attached, but thus far have only been able to do some of the most basic formatting (see hicksgibbon.com/cards).

Extra features will include Thickbox support with "add to cart" in the Thickbox display. The entire site, no matter what you click, will look something very similar to the attached. For every category, there is a featured product where the large greeting card is in the design, and a grid of Thickbox-enabled product thumbnails below. Static pages (like the "about us" page, etc) will obviously need a different layout.

We are able to do all of the CSS and formatting, we just need help with the Drupal backend work, and help understanding how to properly configure the store. We do not need the development to be extensible for now, we just need expedient, indexpensive results.

Thanks!

For your theming issue you can search both this site (Ubercart) and Drupal for hints and some how to scenarios. If you need a specific theme developed, there are individuals that will provide this type of service for a fee. For a choice of themes you can go to http://drupal.org/project/Themes .

There is some help on Uber in regard to setting up a site. However, it is not a complete document at this point. http://www.ubercart.org/docs/user

Have fun with your project.
