When I put Ubercart into my drupal site, the admin page is blank

This is weird. My site runs fine. When I simply ftp the ubercart folder into sites/all/modules/, log in as user 1 and go to mysite/admin, the page is blank. When I remove the ubercart folder, the site returns. I don't have a clue what I have done wrong. Suggestions?

Weird that this would happen w/o even enabling any modules. Do any errors show up in your watchdog? Also, you might check out this FAQ.
