Order/Customer search broken?

Hi übers.

I've experiencing some problems with the search functionality in übercart. Is this a known issue (couldn't find anything about it anywhere)?

Here is an example from www.ametrine.no: (50.000+ customers and lots of orders daily so there is plenty data to search through Eye-wink

I have this in my uc_orders table:

4139  94579  pending  1113.00  halakh@finnoy.no  Aud....  Ki...    Hagatoppen  Haga     Finnøy  0  4160  578  Aud...  Ki...    Hagatoppen  Haga     Finnøy  0  4160  578  cardia  1203409159  1203409159  N;

Order 4139 with payment first name "Aud" and so on..

If I try to search for this order (admin/store/orders/search) either for firstname, last name or anything else I get nothing.

If I try to search for the customer (admin/store/customers/search) I get nothing when searching firstname or last name, but e-mail address actually works Sticking out tongue

Cron runs regularly (although this search is being performed "live"?).

After some more research I see that almost no customers or orders can be found through the search forms (althougt some can..).

Anyone else experiencing this?

Best regards,
Thomas Kulvik

Hmm... someone posted issues with search before, but we could never figure it out. Are you running on the latest version of Ubercart?

On the Livetest, when I search for orders with billing first name "ry*", "RY*", "ryan", etc. I pull up any orders for Ryan Szrama. Same with last name. Direct and wild card searches are matching. I'm not sure what would be causing it to screw up for one site and not another unless it was a bug that was fixed somewhere along the way. Puzzled

Hmm. I'll give it a bit more testing to see what actually happens. The problem is that there's so much data that I have no idea if the wildcard searches return "everything" or just certain records. All I know right know is that is doesn't return what I search for (when I know it's there).

I'll try to get back to you on this. It's a pain for this store right now. The customers are calling for help and they have no way to find customers/orders :/
