I've just had a customer tell me, "Last night I was trying to buy some [items] via Paypal and I couldn’t do it. This morning I tried again and it said this order has been paid for yet all the items are still in my cart. I haven’t received an order number via email."
I had her place the order using "other" as a payment method and sent her a paypal payment request as a quick fix, but I can't be having customers not able to place an order via paypal. When she tried to place the order using paypal, I didn't receive the order at all. No notifications, no order in the system, nothing.
Is this something to do with an update somewhere? I found this:

But it doesn't help me with this problem. I can't find anything else on the forums about it.
