Hi you all,

is there any possibility to apply taxes before adding shipping costs? Or in other words, not apply taxes to shipping cost. In fact, I thought that on tax configuration page I wouldn't have taxes on shipping costs if I would left "Taxes line items: shipping" unchecked. I leave it unchecked but it adds shipping costs before applying taxes, what in my situation (and country) is wrong.

In an scenario where products has a type of tax and shipping a different one, which should be the way to go?

Re: Apply taxes before shipping

I figured it wouldn't matter so much what order the line items were in if they all had accurate amounts. Just because the shipping line item appears before the taxes doesn't mean that it is used in the calculation of the tax amount. The same thing happens for multiple products on an order that are governed by different tax rates.

If you really want to rearrange them, there are some variables in the database, but there isn't a settings form to change them. You can use the Devel module's variable editor (linked in the Devel block) to change the "uc_li_shipping_weight" and "uc_li_tax_weight" values.

Re: Re: Apply taxes before shipping

Hmm, I see. It's true, I've verified that the order doesn't change, but the calculation is right. Maybe the order could reflect that, but I have products with 3 different tax types.

Thanks Smiling
