Hey guys,

So I am currently working on a module to provide a way to group attributes into sections like...

Section ---- 1
Attribute 1
Attribute 2

Section ---- 2
Attribute 3
Attribute 4
Attribute 5

Each section will be a fieldgroup. This helps break up long lists of attributes and provides better theming.
I know cck has this type of functionality for form fields and it would be nice to do the same for attributes.

How do you think the best way to go about doing this is? Maybe porting the code over from cck somehow?
Any thoughts are very helpful!
Thanks everyone for your input.

Cheers!

That's exactly what I've been looking for, although I have another purpose. I want to group product color attributes into color familys so that customers can filter their product view according to color.
Don't think I can contribute much though since I haven't started messing with module building yet but if I get any ideas I'll post them.

Re: Grouping Attributes - Your Input?

I going to do this too. Who will be the first Laughing out loud

Ehem, so the CCK code will be definitely helpfull.

May be it will be better to add attributes to CCK and not CCK to attributes. It looks easier. There is only one problem - how to insert CCK-attributes into UC form. So this will be my way.
