Getting busy with the Ubercode.

A while back I had written/posted a module to handle product statuses such as "Available", "Out of Stock", "Backordered", etc. The thread discussing the module has of course gone away, so I figured since I'm about to install it on another site I'd get the discussion kicking again. It would be really nice to see this functionality rolled into the core product module.

The module is attached for anyone who wants to poke at it a bit. I haven't installed it on a recent version of uber, so hopefully it still works with recent changes.

Hi. I tried Izi's module. It was something I was looking for, i.e. set a 'out of stock' status message. However, when I edit the product, it displays fine when viewing the specific item. Anyway, the 'Add to cart' button still appears when viewing the category. This means that it is still possible to order it, although that is what is trying to be avoided.

Any help concerning this issue would be very appreciated.
By the way, I tried editing the css in order to display the status message in red, but it didn't work.

Support for Product Classes

I know this is a bit old...but it still seems to work with D5. But, it only works for the main content type 'product'. Any thoughts on how to get this to work with product classes?
