I have another module on my site using the lightbox2.

The docs for ubercart call for thickbox, which is not near as full featured.

Will the lightbox2 work?

If so, should I look for some special instructions to use it?

Yes.

If Lightbox2 is installed, Ubercart will use it automatically.
