I was impressed with the simplicity & theming on checkout on http://www.topnotchthemes.com/

I am assuming they are using ubercart. Can anyone comment on how this was achieved ?

Yep, it's Ubercart On D5

Yep, it's Ubercart Smiling On D5 still, alas.

If you use Firebug, you can check out the styling under the hood quite easily. Nothing particularly unusual going on there, I believe it's all CSS styling.
