Evening people,

I am very new to ubercart and I am not near completing an ubercart project.

My problem right now is determining when a customers' credit card payment can be confirmed as paid and then send them a confirmation email/text.

Is there a way to actually confirm payment before the customer can commence on my clients site ?

Does anyone know how I can quickly confirm a cstomer's payment ?

Also, how can I prevent further customer activity until their payment is confirmed, please ?

I'm not sure I understand your question/problem. If a customer uses a credit card, and it isn't declined, as in, the transaction does complete, then you have the money from them/their bank, allotted to you, on hold for you. So, if a credit card is authorized/captured, and not declined, then you have the money. They can do a chargeback, but should only do so if they are fraudulently using a credit card, or if you did not fulfill the terms of their purchase. If you are having trouble with chargebacks, then you have a fraud issue. Some business are more prone to fraud than others.
