Top Ten Mistakes of Shopping Cart Design

Not sure how many people caught this article on Reddit, but I thought it would be appropriate to share here as well.

After reading it over, I'm pleased to know that Ubercart does an outstanding job of conforming to (or being able to conform to) all but one of the items presented. That one item is displaying the "Update Cart" button both above and below the cart contents. Maybe this is something that can be made an option in the cart settings?

Anyways, I found it an interesting read.

Very interesting. Thank you.

I think ubercart can orient some functionnality based on this article because some case are very relevant.

Aye, thanks for posting that. I did a quick read through and was happy to see we've made options that enable all that except a duplicate update button. At the moment, that issue seems to be a very case-by-case issue, since I don't think I've had to actually scroll the cart for any Ubercart site I've been to. That isn't to say it won't happen in the future, though! I'll keep the suggestion in mind and maybe ask you to file it in the issue tracker once I get one back up and running. Eye-wink
