Hey, I just received the following warning when trying to reply to a forum post:

  • The comment you posted has been flagged as potential spam. It will not be visible until the site administrator has a chance to review it.
  • Your IP address (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx) was recently used to post spam to this website. For this reason, you are currently not allowed to post new content. If you believe this is in error, please contact the site administrator.

I had a few warnings that my posts are being placed in an approval queue. I'm certainly not spamming!

Not entirely sure why... may be related to your signature being posted twice w/ external URLs back to back. The spam module picks up on external links somehow.

Being posted twice, hmm...? That's the last thing I want.

When I compose a post my signature is placed in the comment textarea and I can never remember whether I should delete it or prepend my comment to it. I've deleted it from this one so I'll see when I submit.

Resurrecting an old post.

Maybe I am the only one, but I get a lot of Spam/CAPTCHA notices here too. I wonder if I am a bad person, or perhaps I have bad karma, or maybe the settings are too sensitive.

It's a minor annoyance, but if there is an easy tweak, it'd be welcome.

This happens, I think, whether or not I have outside links.

(Note, this one posted without CAPTCHA)

I think it is Mollom, and I get that all the time. I am superannoyed as well.
