Hiya

Any of the ubercart devs going to be at Drupalcon? I'm giving a talk on the state of the e-Commerce module, which might be of interest. But generally I'd like to meet up for a beer and shoot the breeze with you guys.

I'd absolutely love to be there, but the venue will be just a little out of reach for me. Sad I hope you guys have an awesome time, though! Seems like there's been a lot of activity on the ec front lately, so I'm sure it'll be a good session.

Unfortunately, our development team is located in Louisville, KY, quite a distance from Barcelona. Unless Andy wants the foot the bill for taking the team to Barcelona, its not going to happen...Sad

Sime,
I doubt we will be able to make it. I'm quite jealous of you! I would love to see the notes from your talk if they become available. It would be even better if you could post a link to them in the forums so people who ask us if e-commerce does this or that can have a place to start looking. We have been spending so much time working on Ubercart that we are not as up on ecommerce as we use to be. I have become very reluctant to answer questions since there has been so much development on ecommerce I am unaware of.
Have fun in Barcelona
Peace,
Andy

Yes I feel the same about not being up to date with Ubercart. Ryan asked me to review ubercart months ago, as it is I haven't even installed it!

Barcelona is a big trip (I'm in Australia) so I'm planning a thorough presentation (and yeah, a lot of fun). Gordon is helping me prepare so I'm amped. Yeah, it will defly be online, this is my first Drupalcon after 2 years, so I know what it's like to not have access to this stuff.

Anyroads. I'm going to be working in NYC next next year, so maybe next Drupalcon!
