So I went to upgrade my sites to BETA3 the other day as they were previously on Alpha8; upon arriving @ http://drupal.org/project/ubercart I noticed the download link read 5.x-1.0-beta4, I rubbed my eyes and though evil thoughts, something along the lines of, "Muhahaha, they'll never stop me now with Beta4!". Then I woke up and realized my dreams could be a typo haha.

Did I miss something on the home page here? The announcements say Beta3 is the newest, was the topic for Beta4 just not brought up here yet or is this a mis-labeled rls on the drupal page.

Either way I am obviously not complaining, just more of a clearing of my mind. =)

Hope you all won the pool at your work for choosing the Giants. =D

Oof... I was rooting for the Patriots, but neither were really a favorite team or anything. Hearty congrats to the Giants' defense for destroying the Patriots offensive line the entire game.

Anyways, beta 4 was released, but it wasn't really announced. It was mostly just to fix an installation issue with the attribute module. Beta 5 will come soon, and I'll be sure to announce it. Eye-wink

haha yeah well I have always been a Giants fan even though I don't follow football religiously like a few of my friends do; I was glad to see the Giants break such an amazing winning streak by the Patriots; like you said, all praise the Giants defense!

Thanks for the update on Beta 4 & 5; on a quick visual I haven't noticed a huge difference between Alpha 8 and Beta 4 so I figure it mostly script cleanups and reorganizing of information more then completely overhauls.

I know this has been discussed elsewhere, but is there anything else I'll need to check / reconfigure before I upgrade from Beta3? I know there were some significant changes to Workflow, right? I want to keep the live site on the latest code, but I also don't want to break anything Smiling If you can post a quick checklist I'd appreciate it!

I'm really not sure there... best I can say would be to look through the Bazaar logs. Sad The beta 4 came out very soon after beta 3, and it was mostly to fix bugs but not change anything. I don't know what would be different in workflow. Puzzled

I didn't change or reconfigure anything before upgrading; backed up the database and updated Drupal from 5.3 to 5.7, that went fine, then updated Ubercart to Beta4 from Alpha8. The process went well although I think I may have lost my client's Paypal Sandbox u/n & p/w.

Just make sure you run the update.php, but I am sure you knew that ;')
