Hi there Ubercart guru's Eye-wink I am trying to insert on the left side (in different blocks) of my website multiple catalogs (ex: one catalog for promotions and another one for regular stuff). I tried the uc_catalogmenu.zip but it's not working properly.

Any suggestions to display multiple catalogs?
thanks Eye-wink

Is it possible to share what kind of problem you have faced with uc_catalogmenu.zip ?

Hi,

Well I will explain you my problem...

1. I'm ok with installing the module - I installed it in the module folder
2. I am also ok when it comes to creating a second menu and going to the block menu
3. I have under catalog (which is ID= 1) many subcatalogue (ex I have the submenu T-shirt for men, women .. ect..) that works fine.

Now...the problem is the following....I don't see any product in my subcategory when I install the block. It is completely empty and I am sure of having the right ID (as I followed your instruction)

What are the steps in order to have products in the submenus??? the ID doesn't seem to work even if I change it.

Thanks for the help. And keep up the good work Smiling

Hi,
does your subcategory have assigned products ? Is it possible to send a picture of your original catalog block ? That will help me to reproduce the problem on my local.

Hi bakyildiz....

I'm getting very very confuse....

1) I go to .. administer -> content management -> categories --> I choose to add terms in my catalog (these are my subcategories ex: Tshirtkids, Tshirtadult, ...)
2) I actually create a product ... Create content->product (I choose in which subcategory I want to put it ex Tshirthumour is a product going to Tshirtkids)
3) so now.... I have 1 catalog....subcategories....and when I go to check my term ID....nothing!

How do I get the term ID???
Am I creating this correctly?

thanks

Go to .. administer -> content management -> categories --> (/admin/content/taxonomy) click the "list term" for your catalog. Go over the link of which subcategories termId you want to learn. And check your browsers status bar. The last nubber is the termId. I have attached a sample picture for clear understanding.

Thanks for your interest. I see that a combobox will be much better instead of finding and entering the termId. Next version may be.

Okey. New version is ready. In this version selecting the subcatalog is more easy. Instead of finding the termId and entering to a textfield (things written above), you can just select the subcatalog item form a combobox. uc_catalogmenu_v1.zip can be found here http://www.ubercart.org/contrib/3202.
