Module Dependencies

I have noticed that the following are listed on Drupal and various other Ubercart documentations as the required/compatible modules.

* TAPIr (TAPIr 1.5)
* Token (Token 1.10)
* uBrowser (uBrowser 1.3)
* Workflow-ng (Workflow-NG 1.6)
* CCK (CCK 1.6.1)
* Google Analytics (Google Analytics 1.4)
* ImageCache (ImageCache 1.3)
* ImageField (ImageField 1.1)
* Thickbox (Thickbox 1.1)

Some of these listed, such as ImageCache and Workflow-ng are actually listed with outdated version numbers. Does this mean that Ubercart does not work with the updated modules? Should we wait until the newest version is listed on the Ubercart project page before upgrading these modules.

This is of particular concern with Workflow-ng since it has been upgraded from 1.6 to 2.0.

We run the current versions listed to the right on our live sites without issue. The documentation just needs to be updated I believe.

Some of the modules are dependencies, others are recommendations. The version numbers that we've posted have been tested and are reliable, but that doesn't mean later versions won't work better. Just know that it's going to work with our recommendations, and we'll update those docs as we can.
