hello...
I am developing a website ....for selling art paintings and in this i want if any painting will buy the buyer then a text will display that this painting "SOLD" is this possible ... and another thing is that i need a search page which will display products based on Categories like
hardware
software
etc

Did you ever resolve this issue? I have the same requirement for my live Ubercart site. I tried using the stock module.
