On my client's site there are several orders in the state "in checkout" but each of those orders has the following auto-created admin note associated with it: "Customer cancelled this order from the checkout form".
So, my question is this. Shouldn't that order's state automatically change from "in checkout" to "canceled"?
I am posting this to the general discussion forum rather than the Bug Reports forum because I am not yet sure whether this is actually a bug or if I am just not truly understanding how the default order 'state' workflow is intended to work.
