I actually haven't looked into the details on Froogle, but does anyone know how one would go about getting your products listed on it, or other shopping directories like it? Would it be possible with Ubercart?
Getting listed in Google Products (Froogle)

Looks like we'll either need some sort of bulk product export to XML or someone to integrate the Google Base API to spit out the XML on cron runs or something. (That would require quite a bit more time to handle updates, deletions, etc.)

I'd love to see this happen as a contribution. Maybe someone's already done a lot of groundwork in some other open source e-commerce system that we can use.
I've used the osCommerce "module" that generates product feeds for those kinds of sites. Übercart does something similar with the Importer module already, though that XML file wouldn't be useful for this purpose.
I wonder if it's possible to use Views to make the feed files, because some of those sites will retrieve the feed from a specified location periodically. It'd be easy to use CCK to handle the extra categories and information each site would want.
All kinds of ideas spinning around in my head.
Has there been any progress on integrating ubercart with froogle?
It would be a really nice way to advertise your products to a wide audience.
Perhaps it would be a good 'Summer of Code' project???

I'll volunteer as a tester. Great idea!
A module has been created:

I can't get it to work. None of the products show up.
I have made the changes described:

. . . but still no joy.
Anybody have any experience on this?
