I'm surprised this functionality doesn't exist Jawdropping!. I'm looking for a way to create a Views Argument (%) using Attribute Options specified on product pages. For instance if I have the colors Green, Red and Blue, it would be great if I could use views to create a page for each of these colors.

Instead it looks like I have to use Taxonomy, which just seems redundant, considering the colors have already been selected.

Are there other people who could use this functionality?

We all want this. Sadly,

We all want this.

Sadly, attribute options are serialized data. The only workaround, I think, is to replicate the table in a view that parses out the serialized data into fields. Lots of work.

Or ....

Or we could stop using serialization *gasp* for data that should have been dropped into a table in the first place. Whenever my Drupal tables get goobered I find I'm copying stuff from other nodes -- essentially guessing -- to try to fix problems that could easily be remedied by table formatting.

But I don't see that options/attribute data is serialized in the database. And PHP does have an unserialize function anyway.
