I don't know about you, but this sentence on the Review Order screen has always seemed wrong to me:

Your order is not complete.

Every time I see it I get the feeling that there is a problem with my order, that I've done something wrong.

I'd like to suggest that the sentence be changed to "Your order has not been submitted yet" or some phrase that's a little less...well, I don't even know the word to use. Or even remove the sentence altogether, since the next sentence tells the user that the order needs to be submitted.

Hmm... we put that sentence up there after feedback that something like it needed to be in. Sticking out tongue Maybe simply adding a "yet" into the existing sentence would help? "Your order is not yet complete." I dunno... I'll think about it, but it'll never be perfect. You can change it in the checkout messages settings, though.

Here is what I changed it to to fit my needs. Your millage of course will vary.

"Please review the details of your order and click Submit Order (shown at the bottom of form) if all the information is correct. You may use the Back button to make changes to your order if necessary."

I had exactly the same feeling as mrtoner. I was actually convinced it was a bug and tried to look it up in the issue tracker (to see whether it was already fixed) but it seemed there is only a general search available, so I ended up here Smiling

I completely agree that this default text gives the user an uneasy feeling that he has forgotten something. anyway, anyone can change it of course Smiling but still, a vote for better defaults (I'll try to pay attention to the texts other commercial sites use for a possible suggestion)

I'd like to take the opportunity to thank the ubercart devs, it's a wonderful drupal extension! thanks

Our pleasure, mattie. I'd love to put in a better default, so feel free to post it up if you get one. Basically, we can't change strings in the core until we start development on Ubercart 2.0, but once we do it'll be open season for improvements like this. Smiling
