Sending Paypal payments to multiple persons

Hello,
I'm trying to automate my online store (Drupal 5.9), which buys products at wholesale from the supplier and sells them at retail to the customer.

I'd like to configure my store such that when an order is received, a portion of the payment goes to the manufacturer immediately (for the wholesale cost) and my profit goes to me.

This serves three primary purposes.
1) by paying the manufactuer directly at the time of the order, I dont have to have an inventory of products (inventory cost me money).
2) the supplier does not have to issue credit for the purchase (accounts receivable is a 'risk' that most suppliers would like to avoid)
3) This would reduce paypal fees significantly, as I would pay Paypal a fee only on my profit....not the total cost of the product. The supplier would still pay the same fees for wholesale.

Ultimately, this would remove at least one step in the process (me paying the supplier before or after the sale).....and a more efficient process is better for everyone.

Does anyone have any suggestions? I dont know the internal workings of paypal development enough to even suggest a possible starting place, so any comments, suggestions, etc would be helpful.

Thanks,
Kelly
