Friends,

I am interested to know if anyone has implemented Ubercart for class registration. I have a client that would like to have customers pay for a class online, and I am sure Ubercart could do it. Has anyone done something like this before? Should I consider "Class Nodes", "User Roles for each class", something else?

Any suggestions or ideas, would be greatly appreciated.

Re: Class Payments using Ubercart

It really depends what you need someone in a class to be able to do. Is it an online class? Is there content the student should have access to? etc.

Re: Re: Class Payments using Ubercart

I believe the goal would be for the student to have access to specific content. The client is a dog school, not really a legit "people school." So there wouldn't need to be grades, or anything like that. So I guess if I were to create roles for each class, "students" or rather dog owners, would purchase a role for the class and have access to the content that way.

Maybe I have answered my own question......

You can use roles or you can grant specific node access using UC Node Access. Either way, I recommend Content Access for setting up restrictions on the class content.

Great! Thanks! I probably be working on it in the new few weeks, as time allows. Thanks for the suggestions!
