I am not understanding "Product roles:"

My last step in setting up my ubercart is Product roles: and it ask me to set up roles so when I click "create new role"

nothing comes up?

Can someone please offer some suggestions?

Product Roles are for selling subscriptions to the site, where the user is granted a role after paying.... am I right? never used it, just read it.
