Hi,

I started to translate ubercart to brazilian portuguese, but i'm using 7c, and i read that Ryan change or update the pot files, so, how can i import the terms that i already tranlate to the new file and continue the translation with the new terms? About that, what's change from 7d to 7e?

Sorry if the question is too dumb, but is my first translation hehe.

regards

Re: Updating translation to 7d/7e

Honestly, I don't know how to preserve work you've already used. I've heard there are programs you can use to make it easier, I just don't have any experience with it. You might browse around Drupal.org for an answer.

Also, the latest release, Alpha 7e, has updated templates for the latest modules. New strings are being added all the time, so I'd work off of that. I may have been able to get a few of the strings in there that weren't included before by using CVS a little differently.

Hummm, i dont have any problem in the fact that news strings will be added all the time, this is normal, ubercart is still in alpha, but is very disturbing the fact that i will "loose" my work from a version to another, anyway, i will look at drupal.org to see if i find something.

Thanks

I don't know if I going to help you but, using Linux, you can do what you want opening a shell and typing, for example:

~$ msgmerge es.po views.pot > es2.po
