Hi,

Maybe it's more reliable to use ISO 3166 standard for country information, incl. country_id?
ISO 3166: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ISO_3166

Keep up good work

Hey... that makes perfect sense. Smiling

I found this link through the articles as a resource:
http://www.davros.org/misc/iso3166.html

I believe the osC has the letter codes right (at least no one's complained yet), but they don't always have all the states/regions correct and they're using their own numbering system. I think I'd like to convert the country files that already exist to use these codes/numbers. I'll attach the HTML file to this page also.

The good thing about the ISO number codes is they're connected with physical territories and will not change even if the name of a country changes. I'll amend the guidelines for creating country files and tweak the few that I have already received later today.

(My thought is to just not include leading 0's in file names and such... but I bet I can just convert that segment of the file name to an integer and PHP will zap them for my anyways..)

Hey Ryan talking about stuff breaking.....

Am I the only one who seems to be getting multiple copies (up to 3) of my subscription notifications?

heh I just haven't used any subscriptions. Perhaps it's sending them for each different thread/category/forum? I'll check your settings. I don't know much about the module, honestly.

btw, it looks like your cat is hungrily eyeing your user badge. Eye-wink
