We are proud to launch http://www.kilboa.com which operates both as a community and e-commerce site built on Ubercart 2.x.

Kilboa.com is a one-stop resource for both natural health content and products, featuring – articles, videos, recipes, blogs, forums, books, DVDs, fitness equipment, nutritional supplements, personal care items and healthy foods. We’ve personally selected over 500 products that we believe are quality natural products and resources.

We also offer kettlebell training, wellness programming, and business services for the health, wellness, and fitness industry.

We had quite a learning curve to climb in choosing free, open source solutions vs. Volusion or fee-based solutions. I'm glad we made the choice we did. Both the Drupal and Ubercart communities have been great.

Our desire is to provide tools, resources, information, and community support to allow people to live to the outer edges of their potential. Thank you Ubercart team and community family for supporting us in that calling.

Hi...nice site specially the block on Featured Products. What module did you use it? I want to test it also.

lakbaytaodev,

I'm fairly certain I did it with the Views module and Views Slideshow module. Furthermore, we added the Nodequeue module to help us pick exactly the NID's we wanted to display.

So here's how it works. Once you install Nodequeue I'm pretty sure it automatically creates at least one default view for you to edit.

In that view, which by default may be set up as a page, we added a block.

Then, Under "Basic Settings" -> "Style" pick slideshow.

In the Nodequeue admin area we had to add NID's to a queue, then associate that queue with the view in the "Relationships" area of the View admin page mentioned above.

Then, under "Relationships" pick "Nodequeue" if you need to hand pick your NIDs. There are other ways to filter that may not require Nodequeue. Depends on the taxonomy system you've set up.

I highly value the "Administration Menu" module. It really comes in handy when you are navigating back and forth between these module admin pages and can't exactly remember where to find menu settings. For instance Nodequeue admin will be under "Content Management" while Views admin will be under "Site Building" in the Admin drop down menu system.

Hope that helps get you started.
