i know of one other photographer who is using ubercart, tonysheffield.com, but are there any others? i'd like to see how other photo related websites integrate ubercart.
Here's a site I built using the Ubercart and the Acquia Slate theme from Top Notch Themes: www.caldwellpics.com
I'm not using the Ubercart Catalog but rather a custom Catalog built with Views and Taxonomy. Seems to work a bit better and I have much more control over it. I modified the Acquia Slate theme with UberCart specific CSS so it works together nicely (since Acquia Slate isn't a UberCart theme by default).

i was actually looking at Acquia Slate just yesterday and playing around with the theme. i swear, if you see my site change to your theme i'm not just copying you
lol
such a simple site but looks and works really nicely. i don't see any various sizes, do you just sell one size for the $75?
did you put it into the live site area? i don't think i saw it there.
Very nice use of Acquia Slate! Haven't seen many live implementations of Slate, much less for Ubercart. Also, I've been here and I got engaged here. Nice shots! I love Oregon.
one forum i'm on, people are whining about oregon being really gloomy and grey haha you musta been the one day the sun was out
hehe, spam filter thought this post was spam ... yay spam!!!
@ eternalistic
just visited the site to have a peek. Using Mozilla Firefox I got a warning:
warning: Cannot modify header information - headers already sent by (output started at /home/content/n/c/a/ncaldwell360/html/includes/bootstrap.inc:690) in /home/content/n/c/a/ncaldwell360/html/includes/common.inc on line 141.It was at: http://www.caldwellpics.com/category/catalog/northwest-lighthouses on 23:42 hrs in case you wanna check your logs.
Comment on the site and pics: Nice pics and sharp layout.. (the other way around is also fine with me
)
Best,

This looks like a great site. I'm evaluating different options right now for a photography shop, and one of they key requirements for them is the ability for a customer to upload an image, and then make changes to the image with a live preview. E.g., add a border, change it from full color to b&w or sepia, rotate it, add and position text, etc.
Has anybody tried this sort of thing with Ubercart? Is it even feasible?
Thanks for any feedback!
Thanks for the feedback everyone. I built the site for my Mom so it's her photographs on there. They offer a bunch of different sizes but we had to get it up and running quickly for her art gallery this month hence the $75 price for everything and only one size option. Others can be ordered so if anyone is interested use the contact form to get ahold of her.
As for the error that appeared on the page, my guess is it's their crappy hosting through GoDaddy. Cheap and (kinda) effective but I know it's prone to errors like that so no big worries, thanks for mentioning that though. We'll keep an eye on it and see if it gets worse.
