This forum is for the announcement of, discussion about, and feedback for live Ubercart sites. Live sites are open for business, so please do not go to these sites and complete checkout for products you don't intend to purchase.

When your site finally goes live, please post it here so we can see what you come up with! We'd love to fill the Live Sites Directory with as many sites as possible. So even if you don't feel like posting a thread here, spend a couple minutes posting a listing for the directory. You can't beat free advertising. Eye-wink

Furthermore, I encourage everyone to cross post their announcements to the Drupal showcase at Drupal.org. Sites posted there will get a lot of recognition, possibly generating sales, and it will boost Ubercart's broader community recognition as a valid e-commerce solution when people see more and more sites developed on it.

My suggestion

Choose a special content type (in stead of forum) for the Live Sites, that includes a field to upload a screen-shot and make a special view that includes this picture in the listing and in the post. Would be a way to promote Ubercart and in that way stimulate development: let's be proud and show what we can do with Ubercart!

live sites directory

I don't see a link to post a new live site in the directory listing, only the forum for live sites. It's entirly possible that I am slightly retarded though.

Bugs in Live site node creation

Hi imstillatwork,

Log in and then, "Create content >> Live site"

But it has some bugs.

The teaser in the preview never seems to be set and I got the below warning:

user warning: Column 'field_site_logo_fid' cannot be null query: INSERT INTO content_type_site (vid, nid, field_site_url_url, field_site_url_title, field_site_url_attributes, field_site_dev_url, field_site_dev_title, field_site_dev_attributes, field_site_logo_fid, field_site_logo_list, field_site_logo_data) VALUES (22850, 21627, 'http://the-whole-human.com/', NULL, 'a:3:{s:6:\"target\";s:7:\"default\";s:5:\"class\";s:0:\"\";s:3:\"rel\";s:0:\"\";}', 'http://www.inet-design.com/', 'Internet Design Alliance', 'a:3:{s:6:\"target\";s:7:\"default\";s:5:\"class\";s:0:\"\";s:3:\"rel\";s:0:\"\";}', NULL, NULL, NULL) in /var/sites/ubercart.org/sites/all/modules/cck/content.module on line 1213.

It did create the entry, but the full node display page doesn't have all the fields of the Create Content page.
