  This is a redesign using fusion, skinr, and built from aquia prosper. Still a lot of tweaking to do though. http://www.northwestcandlesupply.com Honest feedback desperately needed. Please run through the store, cart, and checkout and let me know what you think.
Store
One thing that lends a great deal of credibility to a site is their address. For this site all of this information is missing. What is nice to see, is an address, phone, etc listed on the footer of each page. And also, place the same information on the contact us page in case folks do not see the footer information. For this site there is no way to contact the firm, except by the form on the contact page. If that fails, then the client has no way to make contact. As a suggestion, for the name field just ask for a first name. That makes folks a little more receptive to an email form. What I like best is just a mail to form, but your marketing will determine which is best accepted. Overall, it is a clean looking site. Nice job!

Thanks, I have not figured out how to simplify the drupal contact form yet.

You could of course, keep the form and add a email 'mail to' link in the footer along with the firms address. That would give uses two ways to make contact. The email address could be the same or different depending on need. See that you are enjoying the idiosyncrasies of Drupal. It sometimes take a bit of head scratching to make a simple change. Other times, it is just better to give up. |
