I am doing some research as a part of a team building a virtual world for the kids market (and also new member of Ubercart!).
Does anyone know of example(s) of a Virtual World using an Ubercart/Drupal installation for the sale of in-world "virtual" items?
I know that Ubercart handles selling file downloads (i.e. music, videos, software), but I am wondering how/if it would handle potentially hundreds of virtual item sales for one user.
PS - an example of a site is www.stardoll.com (much too busy interface in my opinion, but it has been tremendously successful at selling individual virtual items to users).
